At a time when we are undergoing such a significant redevelopment of our store, it is nice to reflect on how we began our business, to where we are now.
Paddy and Una Nolan started out in 1958 opening a convenience store, and since then it has always been about great food, value and customer service. We have stayed true to our roots, and remain a family run independent retailer who supports Irish food businesses and suppliers, as well as blending our product range with finest international products. Those hard to get products, we’ll source them for you, that little known spice, we’ll have it! While some other retailers are closing their fresh food departments down (and with that, the loss of interaction between staff and customers – the personal touch), we are actively investing in these areas.
We’re more than a store though, and our neighbouring retail outlets can lead you from hardware and hair to the Herald and Haribo! And of course, there’s the Nolan’s coffee shop for that much needed break or catch up with friends. We’re the biggest employer in Clontarf, and your continued custom is very much appreciated. So, whilst we are undergoing our major refurbishment works, the values established at the outset will remain the same. We’ like to take this opportunity to thank you for joining us on our journey to creating the new Nolan’s store experience.
Old values, new style, always Nolan’s.
