Nolan's - The New Look

Nolans2014_Front

We have presented this planning application to Dublin City Council for the refurbishment and extension of our premises at 49, 51, 53 and 55 Vernon Avenue.

Dear Customer & Clontarf Resident,

We have presented this planning application to Dublin City Council for the refurbishment and extension of our premises at 49, 51, 53 and 55 Vernon Avenue.

The purpose of the works is primarily to upgrade our existing retail supermarket but they will also involve the construction of two new buildings fronting onto Vernon Avenue on either side of the entrance to our site, which is also to be improved.

The planning application may be inspected or purchased at the offices of Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.

We have informed our immediate and adjoining neighbours, Clontarf Residents Association, Clontarf Business Association and local city councillors. The proposal will also be reviewed by the North Central Area Committee of Dublin City Council.

You should be aware that you have a five week period to make a submission or observation in relation to this application.

This is a very significant project and will cause considerable controversy and discussion within Clontarf. I am acutely aware of the sensitivity of any such proposed development and the impact it may have.

The drawings now on display will remain on display during the period of the planning application.  You are most welcome to visit our store at your convenience to inspect the drawings.

If you have any queries or concerns about any aspect of the proposed development please contact Geraldine at Nolans.

Yours Sincerely,
Richard Nolan.

14th April 2014.

This looks great. Will there however be any road obstruction, or disruption to traffic at this already narrow point of Vernon Avenue?
